Dear Parents,
We are expecting more snow late Tuesday and all day Wednesday. "If" that happens there will be no school. The Valentine's Day Party will be on Tuesday the 16th when we return from our Winter Recess - it is also Fat Tuesday (donut day).
If your child will be handing out Valentines to their classmates, bring them on the 16th, too.
The Unit of Work this month will be on "Backyard Zoo." We will be doing projects and learning about animals we would see in our backyards.
Our first "family of the week" visit was fantastic. Many thinks to Amari's parents. Please take time to enjoy their photo display.
We are planning to go on a class trip to the theater soon. More info will follow.
We have a lot to work on in the classroom. I will also be working with the children on what needs to be done before the end of the school year. Some of the children are showing tremendous progress and seem to be happy.
The sign-up sheet for the Valentine's Day Party is in the foyer.
